New Beginnings from Old Ends

This experience is new to me. It's not often that I confide my feelings so openly, let alone with blank pages. Well let's see what I can do, eh?

It's been two weeks since Mother's disappearance. Oh how I miss her. Sonny seemed surprisingly unaffected by it, and has taken my youngest siblings away to somewhere I'm assuming is far from here. His usual vitality has been waning recently, it seems he is taking the loss quite hard as well. I often see him staring back at his old home, as if he left something there and needs to go back for it.

On my walks with Chaos, we pass by our old home. It's sad really. Death has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but I have yet to accept the fact that she has departed from this world... and every time I pass that house, I get this feeling that she's still in there... calling to me.

A Widow at heart,

Geoffrey Nielson
