Erin's Plan

Gentle Reader,


Erin suggested I date again. I am highly pregnant with Bud’s baby; I don’t have the energy to pursue another lover. I have called my friend the gypsy for a blind date. It will be much easier on me to have my next husband presented to me. The date was going well until I went in to labor. Apparently Buffy did not want to wait until the date was over to be born.


My sweet Buffy, she is so darling. Seeing her smooth porcelain skin, I have decided to talk to my pink boys. Its time they claim their place in this family and stop trying to be something they are not. They are Widows even if they are not porcelain and they should not be ashamed of their pinkness even if initially it was I who was appalled by their coloring.


Claude with his lovely eyes and pointed ears has taken this talk to heart and wiped the silly paint off of his handsome face. He’s a lovely boy who favors his father.


Daniel realized his bad luck with the ladies was more than his lack of experience and removed the black lipstick, got contact lenses, threw out the hand-me-downs from his brothers, got a change in clothes and started working out. He still has no girlfriend, yet he feels better about himself, has won scholarships and is considering a move to the university soon.


Speaking of university, Erin had made it into the Ugh Greek House started by her best friend Bronx Vega and promptly made contact with Aston Dante. Against my wishes, my headstrong daughter invited that boy over to further her relationship with him. Much to my dismay, Aston’s feelings for Erin has not changed.


No sooner did Aston move in to the Greek House with her, he proposed marriage. They are so young with so much life ahead of them. Why do they insist on rushing ahead… no, I should not dispair, Erin is a clever girl with family aspirations, and it’s in her nature to want a family life.

Geoffrey's new life

Gentle Reader,

I must apologize; I have neglected to update you about the youngest of the twins, my Geoffrey. Due to Bud becoming a vampire, Erin running off to Aridia University and the sudden death of Bud, all thoughts of my children had temporarily flitted from my mind. I will attempt to remedy this by telling you the over due update of Geoffrey.



You see, Geoffrey presented me with startling news. During his time at Aridia University, he opted to change his aspiration sometime between his sophomore/junior years. He has chosen to become a romance. I was baffled by this decision; I honestly didn’t expect any of my children to willingly follow in the Widow family tradition. Yet here he is starting his own home and proposing to his first wife.



He introduced me to her via photographs during his stay at the university. I suppose he was pleased with some aspect of this young lady and yet he insisted she get a make over and new clothes as soon as she moved in.



No sooner did she move in they were married. Yet one more wedding I was not invited to. I guess I’m not one to talk since I don’t allow my prey… or rather spouse to dawdle and insist we marry immediately.



Geoffrey was eager to begin his new family. I mentioned he may want to allow his new bride to get a job since he will not be employed himself.



Ah youth, he had denied himself during university and I suppose his primal urges got the better of him. At least this explains why I have not heard from him since he left the university. He is actively attempting to impregnate his bride. Hmmm, I believe his new found pastime is getting the better of him and he will need to resist the urge to simply woohoo. Either that or this woman is barren and should be disposed of immediately.I gave him only one piece of advice, after this bride he should resist the urge to marry anyone straight out of the university. They have little to no money and are always unemployed. He says after denying himself the pleasures of this young woman during the four years of university, he had to have her. I personally think he should have taken her, bed her and then left her for a woman with a job and money. He will learn eventually.

Sixth Strand 2

Bud did one of the strangest things for a vampire. He was rather bored and wanted to play before work. It would be his first day as a General, I’m sure he will be handsome in uniform. That is he would have been had he not decided to play outside… during the day… in the sunlight.


Bud’s first day as a vampire, why didn’t he talk with the Countessa? Why did she not tell him the pros and cons of being a vampire? Why did he have to play with the RC car?


When he was feeling the impact of the sun, why didn’t he come inside to me where it was safe?


I have so many questions and no answers. I was asleep in our bed at the time and even had I been outside with Bud, would he have listened to me in order to save himself?


Where will I turn for answers? Will I ever understand? Why Bud? Why?


I've lost my 6th husband. I know this is the way it is as a Black Widow, it is just so hard when you lose someone that you believe you truly connect with.


I suppose this is why I fight my feelings for Quavi Robbins. I will never have his child, I will never marry him, Quavi will never be allowed to move in to this house.


This child I'm carrying, this last seed of my many husbands may be my last. The doctor says I am almost too old to bear anymore children. It's a relief actually. I am a romancer, and having children frightens me.


Erin called me from school when she heard what the doctor had told me. She begged me to hold on until she got home. She will visit me soon and tell me her plans. I don’t know what my little girl is up to; I just know I must persevere.

Sixth strand of webbing

Gentle Reader,


Bud came home from work having achieved something no other husband of mine had. He has made it to the top of his career and was promoted to General. Now I realize Jeff Nielson was at the top of his career as the Mayor, he was Mayor when he moved in. Bud received this honorable promotion while living here. That in itself is a rather large accomplishment.


Aaron made his appearance last night. He wandered aimlessly about the homestead, stopping periodically searching. What he was searching for I don’t know.


That same night something rather unexpected happened. Erin abruptly announced she was leaving for Aridia University immediately. While I knew her intention was to leave by the end of the week, it wasn’t until after she left I knew why she would not wait.
Is it even possible Aaron knew what had happened? Could that be why he waited outside and walked with his daughter to the cab? He was always very fond of the children, he may have been a failure as a husband, but he was a good father.


During one of Bud’s outings downtown he must have met up with the Countessa. I didn’t even know they had met, he had never mentioned her to me before. I just know that night he came home a vampire. While I will admit Bud makes one devilishly handsome vampire, I wonder how he intends to keep his job as General.


It is obvious Bud had not thought this whole vampire idea through. Everyone knows a vampire belongs in a coffin, should sleep during the day and avoid sunlight. Even sunlight coming through the window is too much for him.

Daniel is not doing too well. I believe my feelings towards Daniel, while he was a youngster, have had a negative impact on him that I will not duplicate with Claude. He is behind in his home work, his needs are extremely low and he opted to grow up early in hopes of rejuvenating himself in time to complete his homework and still make it to school on time.
As adorable as Daniel was a toddler, as handsome as he was as a child, he did not grow up to be a good looking teen. Alas, he tries so hard to fit in with our Widow looks. I will have to talk with Daniel and make him understand that he does not need to try so hard in order to be a part of this family.

Jackie's Decision

Gentle Reader,


Jackie has decided to move in with Leeland Dante. Not only have they moved in together, but they are now man and wife.


I had been invited me over for dinner to meet her new husband and see their new home. Leeland greeted me, attempting to charm and dazzle me, I suppose in hopes that I will accept him as part of the family. Intriguing, doesn’t this one know a spouse is merely a means to an end and nothing more?


It is good to see my Jackie again. She has grown in to a lovely young woman. It seems like just last week that she was sitting in my home discussing the fate of my spouses with her step-father Jeff Nielson.


I am amazed at her strength of character; Jackie laid down the law. As long as I am a guest within her home I am to behave myself and treat her family with respect. Her home… her family… hmmm… apparently I have taught my daughter well. Fine, per her wishes I will hold my tongue… for now.


I spoke with Leeland, gently probing him for answers to scenes I have witnessed from my home across the street. Naturally he claims the women he’s had over are to further their careers. Such a response is what I would expect from a romancer, haven’t I used such explanations myself? To his credit, I know he has not acted on his primal impulses with these women… yet.


Jackie has taken the time to explain to Leeland the importance of family, and more to the point, those that marry in to our family and confirmed rumors surrounding the demise of my past husbands. I’m sure he has understood the under lying message.


Leeland and Jackie are excited about their family’s development. I hope for Jackie’s sake (and Leeland’s) her husband doesn’t stray, raising children alone is very difficult indeed. I’ve never held a job outside the home as she is so it will be even more difficult for her.


All in all dinner went well and I have not changed my mind nor my opinion of this Leeland, I know his type all too well.


Leeland called me, for the second time, I am a grandmother. Jackie has given birth, both she and their son Adrian are resting and doing well.

Erin Samuels

Gentle Reader,


Erin has developed a lovely playful mean streak. Like the time she laughed at Claude who passed out on the floor from exhaustion…


Or the time when she compared Bud in his astronaut uniform to an elephant.


Unfortunately, Erin has also developed a liking for a certain youngster named Aston Dante. How many more Dante children are there? I had thought she had her eye on one of the Vega boys, but they lost touch when he went off to the university.


Aston’s intentions are becoming clearer, and as admirable as Erin believes him to be, I may have to intervene. I do not know if I can handle a third Dante in this family. At least he isn’t a Burton. I believe I have Bronx’s phone number written down some where.


Interesting, Aston has picked up a few pointers from his big brother and my son-in-law Leeland. He has left Erin a lovely gift after their dream date. Where do these Dante’s get their simoleans? Perhaps it’s wiser not to ask such questions.


At last Erin is ready to leave home to further her education at Aridia University. As much as I will miss her in the next four years, it may be just what she needs to distance herself from that Aston Dante boy.

Forward motion

Gentle Reader,

I am aging, I can feel it. The life style that has been chosen for me has taken its toll. I found myself professing to Bud that I love another as well as being rather smitten with him. Surprisingly he finds my honesty refreshing.


The plan is moving along smoothly. Bud is quite infatuated with me, and the love sick fool with his alluring porcelain skin proposes marriage.


I’m not sure what the problem was, could it be my age or could it be this porcelain man is not as fertile as the pink men of my past? It has taken many acts of pleasurable woohoo in order to achieve my pregnant status. Each pregnancy has been torture on my soul as well as on my body.


Bud has opted to “do the right thing” and has asked me to marry him. If you are trying to keep track, my name is now: Negrita Widow-Forrester-Nielson-Samuels-Gattis-Daily-Fox


I can’t seem to find a current photograph of Daniel; he has grown in to quite a handsome young boy. In the meantime Claude has grown in to a toddler and is the spitting image of his father Clyde.


Speaking of Clyde, he has made an appearance. He is currently content in wandering around reenacting his death and has not taken to frightening anyone.


Unlike Dan’s first appearance, he took great joy in frightening me.
